Right now, National Grid is on the fast track to be approved to use OUR MONEY from our monthly bills to pay for a load of fracked gas infrastructure we do not need or want. But we can stand up to this and change the outcome! After over a year and a half of fighting the pipeline, New York State and National Grid are trying to make us pay for the $129 million dollars National Grid spent on the pipeline in 2020 and 2021. So we’re going on strike with our gas bills and asking people to withhold $66 from our gas payments. $66 is about how much the average customer will pay for the pipeline overtime if this bill hike is approved.
